Workshop Details
Molecular Rotors, Motors, and Switches
07/12/2022 - 07/16/2022
Meeting Description:

The control of dynamic systems at the molecular level and the design of molecular motors, rotors, and switches are highly timely and essential for the development of complex functional molecular systems. Fundamental understanding of these phenomena forms the basis for the design of nanosystems, responsive materials, and ultimately, nanomachines.

Notes:

Thirty-two leaders in the field will present invited lectures and there will be ample time for discussions.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THIS CONFERENCE BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN INVITATION, PLEASE CONTACT THE CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS BEFORE REGISTERING.

The registration fee includes five breakfasts, a BBQ picnic on Wednesday night, and an unlimited amount of coffee and snacks.

TSRC is about expanding the frontiers of science, exploring new ideas, and building collaborations. The workshop schedule will allow for substantial unstructured time for participants to talk and think. All participants are expected to stay for the entire duration of the workshop. Scientists are encouraged to consider bringing family or friends. Telluride offers a number of options for children's camps (including Telluride Academy, Ah Haa School for the Arts, and Pinhead Institute). There is more information on childcare, camps, and family activities on TSRC's website at https://www.telluridescience.org/travel/families. Please contact Cindy Fusting at cindy@telluridescience.org for more information.

IMPORTANT: Participants should be aware that this workshop runs Tuesday through Saturday. Festival lodging rates will be in effect on the night of Sunday, July 10th. Discounted lodging rates start on Monday, July 11th. If you are planning to arrive on Sunday you can stay at the Hampton Inn (970-547-4120) next to the airport and come up to Telluride first thing on Monday. You will receive a discount at the Hampton Inn by saying you are a TSRC scientist.
