Workshop Details
Nonlinear Optics at Interfaces
06/01/2026 - 06/05/2026
Meeting Description:

Nonlinear Optics at Interfaces is an interdisciplinary field, where researchers from universities and national laboratories have worked together to push the frontier of instrument development, data interpretation, basic theory, and computational simulations. By leveraging the capability of nonlinear optics to provide detailed molecular information about interfaces, these researchers apply these methods for solving real-world problems across various research domains, such as environmental sciences, biomedicine, materials science, and energy research, offering fundamental insights into physical and chemical phenomena at interfaces. This workshop serves as a key update, where the community collectively discuss latest achievements, current challenges, and outline future research directions.

Notes:

We wish to ensure an intimate workshop setting, with no more than 20 to 25 participants. If you are interested in attending, but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer before registering.

Telluride Science is about expanding the frontiers of science, exploring new ideas, and building collaborations. The workshop schedule will allow for substantial unstructured time for participants to talk and think. All participants are expected to stay for the entire duration of the workshop. Scientists are encouraged to consider bringing family or friends. Telluride offers a number of options for children's camps (including Telluride Academy, Ah Haa School for the Arts, and Pinhead Institute). There is more information on childcare, camps, and family activities on Telluride Science's website. Feel free to contact Telluride Science staff member to help with any planning and/or coordinating care.
