Hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskites have revealed to be very promising materials for photovoltaic oriented applications, leading to photoconversion efficiencies over 20%. These materials also present potentials for light-emission, field-effect transistors as well as spintronic or thermoelectric applications. Despite intense experimental and theoretical investigations in the past three years, a complete understanding of the fundamental materials properties is still lacking. In order to stimulate further improvements in the field, we propose a joint workshop including both researchers involved in state of the art experimental investigations of electronic and structural dynamics as well as leading theoreticians.
The workshop includes five breakfasts, one catered lunch, and the Wednesday night picnic dinner.
This workshop anticipates 25-35 participants including junior researchers.
If you are interested in attending a meeting, but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer about availability before registering. Most TSRC meetings are very small, typically only about 25 people.
IMPORTANT: Participants should be aware that this workshop runs Tuesday through Saturday. Festival lodging rates will be in effect on the night of Sunday, July 10th. Discounted lodging rates start on Monday, July 11th. If you are planning to arrive on Sunday you can stay at the Hampton Inn (970-547-4120) next to the airport and come up to Telluride first thing on Monday. You will receive a discount at the Hampton Inn by saying you are a TSRC scientist.
