Workshop Details
6th International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Medicine (In-Person Participation)
06/11/2022 - 06/15/2022
Meeting Description:

The Battelle Center for Mathematical Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital is planning to organize the 6th International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Medicine. The first two conferences were organized with Zing Conferences in Xcaret, Mexico in December 2012, and in Cancun, Mexico in December 2014. The 3rd International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Medicine was organized in Columbus, Ohio, USA in May 2016, and the 4th one in Puerto Morelos, near Cancun, Mexico in December 2018.

Mathematical and computational medicine is now one of the most important and rapidly growing fields of modern medicine. New sequencing techniques produce enormous amounts of information that require development of novel computational methods to extract the most important medical knowledge. The scope of the proposed 5th International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Medicine covers many different fields within both computational medicine and biomedical informatics, such as genetics, genomics, epigenetics, and epigenomics, protein misfolding disorders, gene regulation, biomarker development, computer-aided drug development, computational immunology, systems biology, machine learning methods in application to biomedical data, and computational methods in personalized medicine.

The purpose of 6th International Conference on Mathematical and Computational Medicine is to bring together eminent scholars with expertise in our selected fields of mathematical and computational medicine, as well as experimentalists and medical professionals interested in the application of computational methods in clinical studies.

Notes:

If you are interested in attending, but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer before registering.

TSRC is about expanding the frontiers of science, exploring new ideas, and building collaborations. The workshop schedule will allow for substantial unstructured time for participants to talk and think.

IMPORTANT: Participants should be aware that this workshop runs Saturday through Wednesday. Festival lodging rates will go into effect on the night of Wednesday the 15th. To avoid the rate increase, you should depart on the 15th. If your flight out of Montrose does not leave until Thursday the 16th, TSRC suggests eating dinner in Telluride on the night of the 15th, taking the shuttle to Montrose after dinner, and staying at the Hampton Inn (970-547-4120) next to the airport. You will receive a discount at the Hampton Inn by saying you are a TSRC scientist.
