Hybrid organic-inorganic halide perovskites have revealed to be very promising materials for photovoltaic oriented applications, leading to photoconversion efficiencies over 20%. To this moment, novel opto-electronic properties are still being discovered with application to light-emission, field-effect transistors, spintronic and thermoelectric applications. With the rapid development of experimental and theoretical investigations of these materials a complete understanding of the fundamental properties is still lacking. In order to stimulate further improvements in the field, we propose a joint workshop including both researchers involved in state of the art experimental investigations of electronic and structural dynamics as well as leading theoreticians. The range of topics will include 1) Fundamental structure-to-property relationships of the halide perovskite 2) Ultra-fast electronic and structural dynamics 3) integration of perovskite materials into devices.
The workshop includes five breakfasts and the Wednesday night picnic dinner.
This workshop anticipates 25-35 participants including junior researchers.
If you are interested in attending a meeting, but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer about availability before registering. Most Telluride Science meetings are very small, typically only about 25 people.
