Emphasis will be on the use of techniques developed in computational chemistry, and traditional condensed matter physics, to treat problems of ultra cold Bose and Fermi gasses (atomic or molecular) in single and double (or few) well traps, in the regime where both correlation and mean-field effects are important in determining collective effects such as Josephson tunneling, fragmentation, interpretation of interference patterns as diagnostics, dynamics of solitons and other non-linear structures.
Core invitees are strongly encouraged to bring a suitable graduate student or postdoc, or to send then in their stead.
