Workshop Details
Structure and Function of the Hydrogenase Mimics
06/29/2015 - 07/03/2015
Meeting Description:

This workshop aims to bring together the world leaders conducting research on mimicking hydrogenase enzymes for H2 production and oxidation, either structurally or functionally.Particular focus will be placed on presenting and discussing recent advances in understanding how the mimics functions. Comparing and contrasting mimics which emphasize the structure of the active site with those which emphasize the functional attributes will be a primary goal, with an additional focus on mimics which extend beyond the active site into the peptide scaffold. An important outcome will be discussing how enzymes and mimics can inform each other as our knowledge develops in both areas.
