This multi-disciplinary workshop aims to bridge scientists working on broad spectrum of problems related to Statistical Physics applied to different areas of chemical physics, optoelectronic materials, theoretical spectroscopy, optimal control, networks and power systems. The meeting is honoring 60th birthday of Professor Vladimir Chernyak (Department of Chemistry, Wayne State University) and his seminal contributions to the diverse fields covered by the workshop.
The workshop will be 25-35 participants, including junior researchers, and will crosscut many fields of chemistry, physics and computer science.
During the week of the 4th of July, the Peaks Hotel is the only lodging provider offering wholesale lodging rates. We are encouraging all participants to stay at the Peaks that week. The great benefit of the Peaks is it has the nicest views and pool in the region.
