Workshop Details
Control of Proton and Electron Transfers in Redox Catalysis
08/07/2017 - 08/11/2017
Meeting Description:

This workshop aims to bring together the world leaders conducting research on mimicking hydrogenase enzymes for H2 production and oxidation, either structurally or functionally. Particular focus will be placed on presenting and discussing recent advances in understanding how the mimics functions. Comparing and contrasting mimics which emphasize the structure of the active site with those which emphasize the functional attributes will be a primary goal, with an additional focus on mimics which extend beyond the active site into the peptide scaffold. An important outcome will be discussing how enzymes and mimics can inform each other as our knowledge develops in both areas.

Notes:

If you are interested in attending a meeting, but have not received an invitation, please contact the workshop organizer about availability before registering. Most TSRC meetings are very small, typically only about 25 people.
